BHAJANS
Bhajans (devotional songs) connects us to spiritual & philosophical ideas in a unique way. The term bhajan means reverence and originates from the Sanskrit root word ‘bhaj’, which means to respect & admire.
Devotional singing (bhajans) is the process of singing that originates in the heart, not from the lips or the tongue.

It is the expression of the deep feeling of gratitude towards all:
- God (Ishvar)
- Rishis (Vedic scholars)
- Parents
- Nation
- Other spiritual aspects of life.
At VSS, children are taught bhajans (primarily composed in Hindi) along with their meaning.
