AGNIHOTRA
The ‘Agnihotra’ or ‘Yajna’ or ‘Havan’ as it is more popularly known, is a key part of the Vedic Dharma.

It enables wellness at three levels:
- Family: Promotes happiness and togetherness as Agnihotra is generally a collective form of prayer performed together by family and friends.
- Individual:Develops positive sanskaars (impressions). We also indirectly practice Pranayaam (regulation of breath) through recitation of Vedic Mantras.
- Environment: It facilitates maintaining an overall balance in the environment by purification of water and air.
Agnihotra constantly reminds us of various virtuous concepts like idam na mama (इदंनमम) – nothing for self – all for society; everything that we have belongs to God (Ishvar) and must be used for the benefit of the entire society.
In this subject, students will learn the exact process of performing the Agnihotra with its scientific explanation, right pronunciation of various Agnihotra mantras along with their meaning.
